Development of Learning Models for Product Development According the Karlsruhe Model

		Within the scope of DAAD project „Entwicklung eines Lernmoduls für Produktentwicklung nach dem Karlsruhermodel“ on May, 31st, at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš, Workshop has been held, with participation of professors from Universities of Karlsruhe, Skopje, Tirana, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Sarajevo and Niš. Workshop was opened by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Vojislav Miltenovic who saluted guests in the opening presentation. Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Prof. Dr.-Ing. Miodrag Manić presented the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš and its model of education.
		Institute for product development - IPEK Technical University of Karlsruhe and model of education, was presented by Mr. Norbert Burkardt, chief of department for product development at IPEK. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Rall, presented the model of education of his University TU Hamburg – Harburg and after him Mrs. Biljana Marković presented the results of hers research about influence of cultural aspect on product development.
		Students of Mechanical Engineering Faculties from Nis and Karlsruhe presented to guests the results of their work on the joint development project „Innovative filter for sterilization of drinking water “, sponsored by German company Kärcher , which demonstrated the process of introduction of new model of education on Department for Mechanical constructions of Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Nis transferred from TU Karlsruhe. The guests had the opportunity to see the prototypes under work conditions developed in this project. Workshop attended over 60 guests with an intensive coverage of local news media. Report from the workshop was emitted even on the National television of Republic of Serbia on two occasions.
